As boring as I may seem, yes, even with such routine daily activities, I managed to learn quite a lot about 2011 so here it goes.
My 2011 recap:
1. Family is always a priority
Family will always love, accept, and forgive you, protect you from douchebags and yes, make you happy. Always listen to them, it may sound bad as hell but they will save you a lot of tears later on. Need i say more?
2. Love thyself
No, not in a blatantly excessive way, just love yourself enough so that you can love other people too :)
3. Some people.. well yeah.. would love to see you go down
I don’t know why but yeah, they’d really kill to see you down, so DONT, ever, let them take advantage.
4. True friends are treasures
Yep. No question about that.
5. The books don’t upload their contents in your brain, idiot.
Hard lesson learned, I got low grades this prelims, and i fuckin regret it. So yeah, i’ll do my best this coming midterms. *fingers crossed*
6. You don’t need a new year to change
Yes, the first step may be hard, but maintaining the change takes a lot of effort before it could sink deep within you.
7. You will always get a surprise every year even without asking for it
Good or bad, it will turn out as a lesson, or a blessing. :)
8. Be optimistic
Even in this sad world we’re all living in, it’s a matter of perspective, you will constantly screw up but, what gives, you’ll overcome them someday even without trying. You just have to realize that some people draw their reason for living from you.
9. Be the best and don’t just try
Well, it is given that you only ‘tried’, Do it! See the difference?
10. Ego and pride is bad for you
11. Don’t just count your blessings
Rather be a blessing! It will feel good not only on your part but to those you touch. Being good to everyone doesn’t make you a sucker!
Yes, Ive experienced lots of downs this 2011 but i know that it made me stronger and wiser (i wish). I hope for the very best for each and every one of us and let this 2012 be a new year full of hope, blessings, success and love! Cheers! :)
